Gira-Discos

Os arquivos de Prince – conhecidos como The Vault – são uma fonte de surpresas. E em finais de novembro uma multidão de gravações inéditas vai surgir numa caixa que apresenta uma versão “expandida” do álbum de 1982 “1999”. A reedição surgirá em vários formatos, o mais completo correspondendo à edição SuperDeluxe (com 5 CD e um DVD ou 10LP e um DVD) que juntam o álbum original com o som remasterizado, temas editados em singles, máxis e lançamentos promocionais por aqueles dias, inéditos gravados em estúdio entre 1981 e 1983, e a gravação (também inédita) de um concerto registado em Detroit, a 30 de novembro de 1982. O DVD reproduz, por sua vez, um outro concerto (igualmente inédito) gravado nem Houston cerca de um mês depois deste outro. O concerto apresentado no DVD será um exclusivo da edição Super Deluxe.

Esta caixa incluirá um texto novo de David Fricke (da Rolling Stone), a reprodução de letras manuscritas pelo próprio Prince e ainda de fotos de Allen Beaulieu (como a que ilustra este post).

Além desta versão SuperDeluxe haverá reedições para preços mais acessíveis, uma delas juntando extras, outra apresentando apenas o álbum com o som remasterizado.
