O assinalar dos 50 anos da edição do segundo álbum de David Bowie – que teve por título original “David Bowie” mas acabou depois conhecido como “Space Oddity” – vai gerar a edição de uma edição especial que junta algumas das maquetes que este ano foram lançadas em suportes de vinil e disponibilizadas em plataformas de streaming e a elas acrescenta não apenas as faixas remasterizadas do álbum de 1969 e as que surgiram nos singles então editados, como apresenta também uma nova versão remisturada desse mesmo disco.

Com o título “Conversation Piece” – canção originalmente destinada ao álbum de 1969 mas que acabou fora do alinhamento dadas as limitações de tempo do vinil – a caixa inclui algumas gravações inéditas e apresenta ainda um livro no qual são recuperadas fotografias de sessões daquele período.
