Depois de um ano de pausa é retomada a edição de caixas dedicadas a uma revisitação cronologicamente ordenada da obra de David Bowie. Com o título Brilliant Adventure (1992-2001) a nova caixa, com 18 LP (na versão em vinil) ou 11 CD acompanha o período iniciado logo após o encerramento da etapa vivida nos Tin Machine e termina em Toy, o álbum criado para ser o sucessor de hours… mas que então acabou na gaveta.
A caixa inclui os álbuns de estúdio Black Tie White Noise (1993), The Buddha Of Suburbia (1993), 1.Outside (1995), Earthling (1997) e ‘hours…’ (1999) aos quais se junta o disco ao vivo BBC Radio Theatre, London, June 27, 2000, numa edição com alinhamento alargado face ao lançamento original em CD. Este registo ao vivo será, tal como a compilação Re:Call 5, com singles, lados B, edits e temas criados para bandas sonoras, exclusivo da caixa. A maior surpresa de Brilliant Adventure (1992-2001) será o inédito Toy, um disco dominado pela regravação de canções da primeira etapa da discografia de Bowie. Um booklet de 84 páginas (versão vinil) ou 128 páginas (versão CD) acompanha os discos.
